Whether you’re ready or not, the boho renaissance is back—and bigger than ever. You need look no further than Jennifer Lopez for proof of its comeback. This past year, the “Let’s Get Loud” singer has integrated a slate of boho motifs into her day-to-day wardrobe, from embroidered dresses to patchwork maxi skirts. Now, she’s breathing new life into the bubble hem resurgence.
For her latest Unstoppable press tour outfit, Lopez worked with stylists Mariel Haenn and Rob Zangardi to cull a look straight from the Chloé runway. The one-of-a-kind romper was constructed out of an excessive amount of pale champagne fabric, which was pleated, draped, and folded in to create tiers of bubble hemlines along the micro mini body and the massive floor-length sleeves.
She capped off the dramatic look with beige Christian Louboutin pumps, studded silver hoop earrings, and a pair of large chunky rings.
This isn’t the only major Chloé look that Lopez has worn recently. Over the past several months, Lopez has relied on the fashion house—whose recent collections have helped reignite the fervor for the boho revival—to dress her for some major events.
At the May premiere of her Netflix action flick, Atlas, the actor walked the red carpet in a transparent white cape from Chloé featuring tiers of bouncy ruffles. In September, she attended the Toronto International Film Festival in another transparent Chloé look, then opting for a pale pink midi dress with an asymmetrical hem. And just last month, she headed out for an Unstoppable screening while wearing a gauzy khaki gown with an abdominal cutout and Chloé’s signature frills.
